Save-A-Horse Stable will be at Tractor Supply, 55 Sugar Run Road, Morrisville, for a fundraiser Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will include pony rides and information about the organization’s rescue efforts. For more information, call 724-627-0975.
Greene County Pomona Grange will hold an election of officers and memorial service at Harvey-Aleppo Grange at 3 p.m. Saturday. A covered dish meal will follow the meeting.
There will be another brass pour from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the W.A. Young and Sons Machine Shop and Foundry in Rices Landing. After the pour Sunday, the group will then head to Greene County Historical Society to tour the “Old Waynie” locomotive. The public is invited for both events. The Family Stability Community Team of MAGIC will hold its annual MAGIC Goals Soccer Camp June 14, 17, 21 and 24, each day from 9 to 11 a.m. This free camp is for children ages 6 to 16 and will be held at Carmichaels Area High School Soccer Field. In addition to teaching soccer skills, the camp will also encourage team building and leadership skills, as well as promote self-esteem among youth. Each day of the camp will feature a speaker to educate the participants about healthy behavior choices, such as nutrition and tobacco prevention.
