Governor Tom Wolf and Senate leaders nominated local attorney Damon Faldowski to fill the seat left by former President Judge Debbie O’Dell Seneca on the Washington County Court of Common Pleas. A news release was published on the governor’s website, which was then shared on social media along with well wishes from members of friends and family.

Laura Phillips, a partner at the firm Phillips and Faldowski, congratulated her familial colleague on Facebook, posting “congratulations to my law partner and more importantly, my uncle, Damon Faldowski on being nominated to the bench … Damon is one of the most skilled and well-respected trial lawyers in the region, if not the state, and he has dedicated his career to improving the lives of his clients and his community. Huzzah!”

Faldowski’s nomination, along with the 22 others for city, county and state courts across the commonwealth, will next face confirmation by the state Senate.
