Houston man’s death under investigation
The death of a Houston man Sunday night is under investigation by police in Allegheny County.
According to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office, David Lee Shane Campbell, 27, was involved in a vehicle accident on East Main Street in Carnegie. A short time after the accident, Campbell fell 80 feet off an overpass wall. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he was pronounced dead.
The death was ruled accidental by the coroner, and the cause of death was multiple blunt-force trauma. A toxicology report is pending.
