Gun stolen, man jailed after parking lot fight
A Tuesday night fight in a Washington parking lot resulted in a stolen gun and a man being jailed.
According to Washington police, Brandon R. Allen, 25, of 262 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, pointed a gun at another man in the parking lot of Luxury Box Sports Bar, 427 E. Maiden St. Allen allegedly placed the gun on the ground and agreed to fight hand to hand. While the men fought, a person picked up the gun and ran off on Moore Avenue. Police have a suspect in the theft.
Allen was placed in Washington County Jail on a state parole violation. Charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a prohibited firearm were filed with District Judge Robert Redlinger Wednesday.
Police did not indicate if charges would be filed against the other man involved in the fight.
