The following people appeared recently for sentencing in Washington County Court.
Appearing before Judge Michael Lucas were:
Curtis G. Sumey III, 37, 475 Second St., Chestnut Ridge; retail theft, defiant trespass and false ID to law enforcment; charged Nov. 26; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail with credit for time served, 12 months of probation, restitution and banned from Walmart.
Bernette Moore, age not known, 850 Addison Ave., Washington; bad checks; charged Oct. 13; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and banned from Washington Auto Mall.
Mark P. Daube, 52, 2304 Walch St., Monongahela; possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering apprehension; charged March 13; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Kimberly Snyder, 22, Charleroi; access device fraud; charged Feb. 24; sentence – 24 months of probation and restitution.
Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
Robert A. Levandosky Jr., 24, 14 Dairy Road, Charleroi; theft by unlawful taking and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Nov. 5; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.
Marc D. Ackley, 37, Valley Grove, W.Va.; loitering and prowling at night and criminal mischief; charged March 31; 12 months of probation, restitution and anger-management classes.
David C. Bell, 24, 425 Pleasant Valley Road, Washington; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Feb. 3; sentence – 12 months of probation and 25 hours of community service.
Joshua J. Moss, 28, 22 E. Pitt St., Canonsburg; simple assault; charged March 26, 2015; sentence – 12 months of probation and domestic violence counseling.
Michael R. Melnyk, 28, 133 S. Second St., Quakertown; theft by unlawful taking and conspiracy to commit theft; charged Aug. 27; sentence – 8 to 23 months in jail, restitution and banned from Walmart.
Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo were:
Nicholas W. Calvaresi, 21, 31 Wilmington St., Uniontown; first offense of driving under the influence and operating a vehicle without insurance; charged Dec. 29; sentence – 6 months of probation and $600 fine.
Teresa M. Gillis, 54, 9 Oak St., Eighty Four; second offense of driving under the influence and driving while blood alcohol level of 0.02 percent or greater while license suspended; charged July 6; sentence – 5 years of Intermediate Punishment program with first 30 days in jail followed by 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $2,500 fine, 18-month license suspension followed by 18-month Interlock ignition device.
Elizabeth M. Jenkins, 53, 115 Coyle Curtain Road, Monongahela; second offense of driving under the influence; charged Oct. 18; sentence – 5 years of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, restitution, 18-month license suspension and 12-month Interlock ignition device.
Christopher L. Giuliani, 35, 46 Hot House Lane, Washington; second offense of driving under the influence; charged June 12, 2015; sentence – 5 years of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month Interlock ignition device.
Paul V. Shinko, 55, 5 Walnut St., Muse; second offense of driving under the influence; charged Nov. $22; sentence – 5 years of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month Interlock ignition device.
John H. Snatchko, 55, Colliers, W.Va.; second offense of driving under the influence; charged Nov. 26; sentence – 5 years of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring; $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month Interlock ignition device.
