Criminal mischief: Adrian Michael Buchanan, 24, of 417 Mountainview Gardens, Franklin Township, was charged with two counts of criminal mischief and harassment following a May 29 incident at his residence, state police said. Buchanan allegedly shoved a female victim to the ground and destroyed her television, DVD player and vacuum, valued at $230, police said. Buchanan was also charged with destroying another victim’s Xbox 360, according to court documents.

Insurance fraud: Shawn Bissett, 41, and his wife, Tanya Bissett, 39, both of 221 2nd St., Morgan Township, were both charged by the state Attorney General’s office with two counts of insurance fraud and one count of criminal attempted theft. According to the criminal complaint, the couple allegedly lied to their auto insurance company to try to claim $1,000 of insurance money for damage done to their vehicle, but the damage had been done to the car before they reinstated their insurance policy, investigators said.
