The Whiteley Society of Farm Women will meeting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the conference room at 26 W. High St., Waynesburg, with Dortha Mooney as hostess.

Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will shut off water in Waynesburg on Hillcrest and Fifth avenues between West Street and Route 19 and on Cherry Alley between Fruit Alley and Washington Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday for system upgrades. Customers may experience low pressure or no water and are advised to fill containers of water to keep on hand.
