The following appeared recently for sentencing in Washington County Court.
Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo were:
James Ian Brothers, 44, 84 Miller Road, McDonald; driving under the influence; charged June 9; sentence – 60 months in the intermediate punishment program, 12 months of ignition interlock, $1,500 fine and 18-month driver’s license suspension.
Jude Timothy Cassidy, 53, 40 Mark Ave., Washington; driving under the influence; charged Aug. 10; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program with first 10 days on electronic home monitoring and 12-month driver’s license suspension.
Donna Marie Combs, 55, 230 Burkhart St., Bentleyville; driving under the influence; charged July 3; sentence – 10 days to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension.
David Leon Snyder Jr., 30, 412 Foxwood Lane, Pittsburgh; driving under the influence; charged May 13; sentence – 60 months in the intermediate punishment program with the first six months on electronic home monitoring, 12 months of ignition interlock, $1,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension.
Kenneth Lee Friend, 51, 350 Third St., Washington; driving under the influence; charged June 10; sentence – 11½ to 23 months in jail; 12 months of ignition interlock; $1,500 fine and 18-month driver’s license suspension.
Michael Shane Prowitt, 42, 333 Vankirk Ridge Road, Washington; driving under the influence; charged Aug. 7; sentence – six month in the intermediate punishment program with first 30 days on electronic home monitoring, $750 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension.
Nicholas Paul Slavonia, 36, 277 Davidson Drive, Charleroi; driving under the influence; charged July 8; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program with first 10 days on electronic home monitoring and 12-month driver’s license suspension.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle was:
Steven J. Plance, 37, 17 Monooka St., Pittsburgh; possession of a controlled substance; charged Sept. 22; sentence – 11 months of probation.
Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
Adam James Blackburn, 28, 34 Highland Ave., Washington; possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Nov. 7; sentence – 24 months of probation and drug and alcohol assessment.
Brian David Taylor, 29, 121 Kurtz Lane, Jefferson; possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility; charged April 18; sentence – 12 months of probation, $300 fine and drug and alcohol evaluation.
Andrew Duncan, Washington; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Dec. 20, 2014; sentence – 12 months of probation
Shawn Michael McMasters, 21, 670 Henderson Ave., Washington; possession of a controlled substance; charged Oct. 7; sentence – 12 months of probation, drug and alcohol evaluation and 100 hours of community service.
James Nelson III, 42, 401 Highfield Ave., Canonsburg; possession with intent to deliver; charged Aug. 31; sentence – 1 to 2 years in jail.
Scott Allen Bain, 126 Warrencliff Drive, Monaca; conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance; charged April 9; sentence – 12 months of probation with the first three months in the intermediate punishment program, drug and alcohol assessment and $300 fine.
Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court for first offenses of driving under the influence and were admitted into to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged.
