Assault charge: Larry G. Silvestros, 58, of 914 Hillcrest Drive, Canonsburg, was charged Tuesday by Canonsburg police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly pushed Kristen Flaherty to the ground during an incident Friday in the 100 block of East Pike Street. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Warrant arrest: Mario Pellegrini, 23, of DiCio Street, North Strabane Township, was arrested Wednesday by Canonsburg police on a bench warrant after he was found at a residence at 209 S. Central Ave. Police were called to the home for an attempted burglary. Pellegrini was placed in Washington County jail.

False information charges: Jason G. Johnson, 44, of Duquesne, was charged Monday by Chartiers police with false information on a firearms application and false statement. He allegedly put incorrect information on a gun purchase application during a gun show Sept. 26 at Washington County Fairgrounds. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Drug charge: Lacy M. Reinehr, 27, of 205 Hallam Ave., Meadow Lands, was charged with possession of heroin after police said her father gave Chartiers officers several stamp bags he confiscated from her at their home Feb. 18. A charge of possession of heroin will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Drug arrests: Christopher Robin Logan, 45, whose last known address was Murray Avenue in Donora, was arrested early Thursday on warrants in connection with separate drug cases from 2011. Logan is charged with possession and possession with intent to deliver oxycodone and heroin. He is accused of selling drugs to an undercover trooper, as well as to a confidential informant in Donora. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on $75,000 bond.

False ID: Brooke A. Dills, 35, of 505 Ninth St., Donora, is charged by city police with giving an officer a false identification during a traffic stop about 12:15 p.m. Feb. 24 in the 600 block of Reed Avenue, court records show.

Assault case: Lee Keener, 34, of Rialtan, is facing charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct, accused of assaulting three women about 4 p.m. Tuesday at 5 Aliquippa Ave., city police said.

Ethnic intimidation charge: Joseph Michael Bergman, 19, of 2 Camelot Place, Rostraver, was charged Wednesday by Rostraver police with ethnic intimidation and harassment after he allegedly directed ethnic slurs at a couple walking in the Port Royal Village mobile home park. He also allegedly threatened them, police said. The charges will be sent by summons from the office District Judge Charles Christner.

Theft charge: Jillian D. Brown, 31, of 46 W. Euclid Ave., Monongahela, was charged Wednesday by Rostraver police with theft by deception. She is accused of taking two buckets of nails valued at $197.68 from a shelf at Lowe’s, 200 Sara Way, and then taking them to customer service and returning them for a gift card. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Theft arrest: William Radocaj Jr., 35, who has no known address, was arrested Wednesday night by South Strabane police on a charge of retail theft after he allegedly tried to steal a $279 vacuum cleaner from Walmart, Trinity Point. Police said he dropped it and ran when confronted by employees. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Man arrested: David D. Long, 32, who has no known address, was arrested Wednesday night by Washington police on a felony charge of retail theft after he allegedly tried to steal items from CVS Pharmacy, 175 W. Beau St. Earlier that day, he told police he had items including his prescription medication and wallet stolen while he was at City Mission, West Beau and Washington streets. Long was arraigned on the theft charge by District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Window broken: A front window was reported broken Wednesday at Chicco Baccello, 241 S. Main St., Washington police said.

Church entered: A burglar entered Broad Street Baptist Church, 682 Broad St., and broke into a locked refrigerator containing food for the food bank, Washington police said. The burglary was discovered Sunday.

Card used: Sidney Vaughn of Addison Street told Washington police Wednesday an attempt was made to use his credit card that had been in his wallet he reported stolen earlier in the week. The attempt was made at the Kwik Fill, East Maiden Street, but the card was declined.

Drug arrest: Lavonne T. Williams, 35, of 165 Grove Ave., was arrested Wednesday during a warrant search of his home. According to the complaint, officers with the Washington County Drug Task Force were investigating drug activity in and around the home. Upon serving the warrant, officers allegedly found 55 bags of suspected heroin, cash and a large amount of rubber bands used to pack heroin. Williams was placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond on one charge each of possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is scheduled March 16 before District Judge Robert Redlinger.
