Police beat March 15
Illegal deer kill: Brandon L. Wickham, 22, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., was charged Thursday with unlawful killing of big game after the Pennsylvania Game Commission said he shot a deer in Dunkard Township after legal hunting hours Dec. 5.
Store theft: A man walked into the CVS store at 3161 Mt. Morris Road in Franklin Township about 2 p.m. Feb. 24 and stole hundreds of dollars worth of stomach medication and shampoo, state police said.
Items stolen from car: State police said someone entered a car parked at Mountainview Gardens Apartment Complex in Franklin Township between Feb. 27 and March 11 and stole a radio and other stereo equipment.
Threatening phone messages: Sandra Lee Whitlatch, 56, of Avalon, was charged Friday with harassment after state police said she left numerous phone voicemails threatening a woman in Gray Township from June 19 to 27.
Car taken: Keith R. Dille, 18, of Fairview, W.Va., was charged Friday with receiving stolen property after state police said he took a car from a home on Hillside Lane in Wayne Township between Jan. 27 and Feb. 7.
Terroristic threats: Waynesburg police charged Christopher S. Smith, 36, of 180 Old Scales Road, Washington, with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after officers said he fought another man about 11 p.m. Thursday at 58B Woodland Ave. in the borough. Police said he also threatened an officer following his arrest.
ATV crash: Klynton H. Walker, 33, of 2118 Garards Fort Road, Franklin Township, was charged with fleeing police, reckless endangerment and driving under the influence after Waynesburg police said he was riding an all-terrain vehicle on South Richhill Street and refused to stop before crashing the vehicle during a brief chase in the borough Feb. 1.
