Two charged: Michael Jon Ulrich, 25, of 1715 Morris St., Waynesburg, and Samuel Paul Delaney, 24, of 665 Hillcrest Ave., Waynesburg, were each charged Wednesday by state police with possession of heroin and paraphernalia stemming from a June 19 traffic stop on Interstate 79 south at the Marianna exit, Amwell. Delaney had 12 stamp bags and a syringe, police said, and Ulrich, who also was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and driving under suspension, had four stamp bags and syringes. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Grandmother charged: Agnes R. Reid, 58, of Pittsburgh, is charged by Charleroi police with interfering with the custody of a child over allegations she took her 14-year-old granddaughter from Crest Avenue Park to her residence about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday without the permission of the child’s mother, court records show.

False ID: Cleotis Russell Jr., 33, of 523 First St., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police via summons with giving a false identification to police while an officer investigated suspicious activity outside 600 Washington Ave. about 9:30 p.m. Monday, court records show. Russell escaped capture during a foot chase that night.

Assault arrest: Waukesta L. Wynn, 37, of 209 Wilson Ave., North Charleroi, was arrested Tuesday by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment. He and his wife, Rori Leeanne Wynn, reportedly got into an argument at their Fallowfield home. He started pushing items off a kitchen island, including a candy dish that reportedly hit his wife on the chin and left arm. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Woman threatened: Jason R. Carter, 36, of 1344 Leeds Ave., is charged by city police with terroristic threats, resisting arrest and public drunkenness, court records show. Police accused him of threatening to kill a woman who lives in the 1300 block of Leeds Avenue Tuesday and struggling with an officer who arrested him outside her residence about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. Cole is in Westmoreland County jail on $10,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Burglary case: Lori Alatsis, 48, of Clairton, will be charged by city police with burglary, theft and receiving stolen property over accusations she broke into a residence in the 1100 block of Rostraver Street about 11 a.m. March 9, stole checks from a woman who lives there and then used them to withdraw $2,000 from her bank account, police said.

Drug case: Calvin W. Harris, 58, of 418 Fourth St., and Jon Welch, 53, of 307 W. 10th St., both of Donora, were charged Tuesday by city police by summons with possession of a rock of cocaine when a vehicle police approached at 200 Schoonmaker Ave. about 10 p.m. March 4, court records show.

Heroin possession: Dayna L. Wyke, 26, of South Huntingdon Township, was charged Tuesday by city police with endangering the welfare of children, possession of two stamp bags of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police accuse Wyke of overdosing while her 18-month-old son was unattended in her vehicle at Sycamore Street and Lookout Avenue about 1:45 p.m. March 3, court records show.

False claim: Alaina Black, 29, of 415 Highland Ave., North Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police via summons with false reports, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, court records show. Black is accused of calling Washington County 911 to report a man for threatening her with knives while he was sleeping at his residence about 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Man assaulted: Joshua Ralston, 33, who Washington police said is homeless, said he was assaulted and robbed by seven black men ranging in age from 20 to 35 in the parking garage on Franklin Street. Ralston said he was walking from a store to a restaurant when the men followed him into the garage and assaulted him, knocking him unconscious. When he came to Wednesday morning, his socks, shoes and $25 were stolen. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment of facial injuries.

Threats arrest: Charles Seaman, 54, of 930 Fayette St., was arrested Tuesday by Washington police on a charge of terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened his roommate, Jeanne Horne, and damaged items in the apartment, including a door. Police were called to the apartment four times. On the third trip, police told Seaman to stay in another area of the apartment away from Horne. When officers were called back a few minutes later they arrested Seaman. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on a $25,000 percentage bond.

Woman scammed: Brittany Truesdale of West Katherine Avenue told Washington police Tuesday she was scammed out of $1,916. She was sent a check for $2,500, told to deposit it and then send a Moneygram for $1,916 to an address in the state of California. After she sent the money, Truesdale learned the check she had deposited was not good.
