Bentleyville man, three others charged in stolen bank card case

BENTLEYVILLE – A Bentleyville man is accused of stealing his former girlfriend’s debit card and sharing it with three others to make illegal purchases.

State police Tuesday filed charges of theft, receiving stolen property and access device fraud against Taylor Smith, 20, of 105 Sycamore St., who is charged with stealing the card while moving out of the residence of his former girlfriend, Autumn Reynolds of Cokeburg, court records show.

Police accuse Smith of using the woman’s banking card Feb. 8 and using it to withdraw $150 from her bank account.

Also charged with acccess device fraud and receiving stolen property in the case are: Hope D. Matuck, 31, of 218 Bigler Road, Bentleyville; Amy Reedy, 36, of 9 Maple St., Eighty Four; and Seth Skariot, 22, of 2035 Route 136, Eighty Four, court records show.

The suspects will receive their charges via summons from District Judge Larry Hopkins.
