The following people appeared recently for sentencing in Washington County Court.
Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
Ralph W. Orum, 36, 15 Fifth St., Claysville; firearm not to be carried without license; May 6; sentence – 12 months of probation and 50 hours of community service.
Matthew J. Stokes, 36, Zanesville, Ohio; second offense of driving under the influence, refusal, and careless driving; charged Jan. 21, 2015; sentence – 5 years of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months of electronic home monitoring, $1,525 fine, 18-month license suspension and alcohol highway safety school.
Jarrad A. Wise, 20, 49 Naser Ave., Washington; endangering the welfare of children, harassment and first offense of DUI; charged Aug. 5; sentence – 48 hours to 23 months in jail, 12-month license suspension and $1,800 fine.
Jeffrey W. Crompton, 27, 955 Bruce St., Washington; third offense of DUI and driving while blood-alcohol content 0.02 percent or greater while license suspended; charged Aug. 9, 2014; sentence – 15 to 36 months in jail with credit for time served, $3,500 fine, 30-month license suspension followed by 12-month Interlock ignition device.
Dana L. Telega, 32, 1482 Route 481, Charleroi; driving with a suspended license; charged Aug. 15; sentence – 12 months of Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program.
Robert Majors, 46, last known address of 2814 California Ave., Pittsburgh; possession of offensive weapon; charged Feb. 7, 2015; sentence – 7 to 23 months in jail with credit for time served.

Melissa L. Linton, 39, 123 Hunting Creek Road, Canonsburg; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 6; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Charles D. Stilwell, 44, 1218 Main St., Bentleyville; second offense of DUI and driving with a suspended license; charged Dec. 6, 2014; sentence – 5 years of Intermediate Punishment program with first 30 days in jail then 8 months of electronic home monitoring, $2,000 fine, 18-month license suspension followed by 12 months of Interlock ignition device.
Richard M. McKita, 50, 227 ½ McKean Ave., Charleroi; first offense of DUI; charged July 26; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program with the first 10 days of electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine and alcohol highway safety school.
Eric Marshman, 37, Palm Coast, Fla.; first offense of DUI; charged July 23, 2011; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Michael T. Carlson, 28, 180 Route 837, Monongahela; charged March 18, 2015; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment Program with first 10 days of electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Matthew T. Mercer, 30, 206 Pleasantview Road, Finleyville; second offense of DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 7; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 60 days of electronic home monitoring, 12 months of probation, $750 fine, alcohol highway safety school, 1-year license suspension followed by 1-year Interlock ignition device.
Matthew D. Carte, 25, Maysel, W.Va.; possession of a controlled substance and first offense of DUI; charged Jan. 1, 2015; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, 12 months of probation, $1,000 fine, 12-month license suspension and alcohol highway safety school.
Daniel W. Brewer Jr., 56, 536 Alberts Drive, Monessen; first offense of DUI; charged May 8; sentence – 6 months of probation, $300 fine and 12-month license suspension.

Andrew E. White, 44, 970 Fayette St., Washington; first offense of DUI; charged June 26; sentence – 6 months of probation, $600 fine and alcohol highway safety school.
Kenneth W. Sands, 30, 27 Washington St., Fredericktown; second offense of DUI; charged Sept. 4, 2014; sentence – 90 days to 5 years in jail with credit for time served, $1,500 fine, alcohol highway safety school and 18-month license suspension.
