Two teens killed, one injured in Fayette high-speed crash

UNIONTOWN (AP) – Two teenagers are dead and a third is injured in what authorities say was a high-speed crash in Western Pennsylvania.

The wreck in Fayette County occurred just before 11 p.m. Tuesday on Morgantown Road in Georges Township.

A fire chief estimates the vehicle was traveling in excess of 100 mph when the driver lost control. The vehicle went up an embankment and hit a stone wall.

The 17-year-old male driver and a 17-year-old female passenger were killed. A 16-year-old female passenger was flown to a hospital in West Virginia, where her condition is not known.

No names have been released.
