Washington man pleads guilty to drug charge in federal court
A Washington man whose house was the target of a February raid pleaded guilty Monday in federal court to a drug charge.
Quenten Vaden, 33, of 140 Hart Ave., pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab to possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl.
The Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, Washington, Canonsburg and state police and the city police K-9 unit executed the search warrant Feb. 12 after an investigation into heroin distribution in the county.
A search of the home reportedly netted 785 stamp bags of heroin, four ounces of cocaine and more than $9,000.
Vaden will be sentenced Aug. 22.
