League of Women Voters to host executive director
The League of Women Voters of Washington County will hold its annual meeting at 6 p.m. May 18 at Citizens Library in Washington.
A buffet dinner provided by Main Street Café in Claysville will be served. Cost is $18.
Guest of honor is Suzanne Almeida, executive director of the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania. She will speak about priorities and activities of the state league.
During the business meeting that follows, members will discuss and approve the budget and program for 2016-17 and elect officers and directors.
