Truck crashes: John D. McConnell, 44, of Marianna, escaped injury early Thursday when his northbound pickup truck went off Little Creek Road, Amwell, hit a tree, overturned and came to rest on its roof in a creek, state police said.

House vandalized: Amanda Coursin, 149 Murdock St., told Canonsburg police black paint was sprayed on the front and side of her house Wednesday.

Pedestrian chased: Leah Marie Lauderbaugh, 32, of 163 Chess St., New Eagle, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and making terroristic threats in connection with a report Sunday afternoon of a pedestrian being chased by a woman operating a vehicle at Armstrong soccer field, Route 481. Christina Pucel, who was holding a child, told Carroll Township police Lauderbaugh tried to run her down. Lauderbaugh said she only intended to talk with Pucel. Police filed charges with District Judge Mark Wilson.

DUI, altercation: Rebecca Lynne Anderson, 51, of 578 Seventh St., North Charleroi, was charged with with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after a crash at 140 Route 88 on April 27. Carroll Township police said she refused to get into an ambulance, so she was carried to the patrol car, where she kicked windows. She eventually agreed to have blood drawn at Mon Valley Hospital, according to charges filed with District Judge Mark Wilson.

Order violated: Stephanie Lynn Galloway, 28, of Canonsburg, was arrested Wednesday by Cecil Township police for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order by calling her estranged husband, Timothy Galloway, and going to his home on Woodridge Court. She was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County Jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Window broken: Jim Oliverio, 802 Governors Circle, told Chartiers police Wednesday a rock was thrown through a window of his home.

Mailbox stolen: Catherine Angelina Louis, Twin Bridges Road, Fallowfield, told state police a white, steel mailbox was stolen from a post in front of her home Saturday. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call police at 724-929-6262.

Forgery charges: Jamie Greer, 28, of of 206 Lookout Ave., Charleroi, and Dylan Connelly, 26, who lives in an apartment at 145 Chess St., Monongahela, were charged with forgery and conspiracy in connection with a check stolen last month from the Pearl Avenue home of Joann Greer. Greer was also charged with theft of the check. Monessen police, in an affidavit filed with District Judge Joseph Dalfonso, said Connelly told them he received $50 for cashing the check in McKeesport.

Drug charges: Stephen Todd Martello, 52, and Pamela Jean Carlson, 56, both of 30 Knox Ave., Monessen, were charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of heroin and conspiracy. Monessen police said a traffic stop at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday led them to obtain a search warrant for the residence, where they found empty stamp bags, hypodermic syringes, a burnt metal spoon, a bag of suspected heroin and other paraphernalia. Martello and Carlson were arraigned by District Judge Jason Buczak and placed in Westmoreland County jail on $50,000 bond.

Paraphernalia, resisting arrest: Melissa Clipp, 29, of 303 Courtney Hill Road, Finleyville, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct Saturday morning in the parking lot of a business at 750 Lincoln Ave., North Charleroi. Charleroi police received a report a pickup truck was moving erratically and the driver slumped over. When they arrived at 5:45 a.m., they found a glass pipe used for smoking crack cocaine inside the passenger compartment. They said Clipp got out of the vehicle, yelled epithets and struggled when police placed her in handcuffs. Charges were filed with District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Driver injured: Brooke M. Reihner, 23, of East Buffalo Church Road, Washington, was injured in a head-on crash Tuesday afternoon on Park Avenue at Williams Street, North Franklin police said. Reihner was going north when she swerved to avoid another vehicle, colliding with a southbound vehicle driven by John N. Shrader of Wilson Street, Washington. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

Women charged with retail theft: Michelle R. Clark, 28, of 101 Marra Ave., Washington, and Joanna Dawn Temple, 31, of 956 Addison St., Washington, were charged by North Franklin police with retail theft after they allegedly stole perfume valued at $267 on Tuesday from Macy’s, Washington Crown Center. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Two charged: Ricky Lee Dickson, 26, of 800 Grove Ave., Washington, and Howard R. Camp, 59, of 800 E. Beau St., South Strabane Township, were each charged Tuesday by North Franklin police with providing false information on an application to purchase a gun and false statements. Both men separately attempted to buy a gun at Gander Mountain, Washington Crown Center, on two different dates in July. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Crash reported: Jennifer Demjanenko, 23, of New Albany, Ohio, escaped injury Sunday when her car spun into the concrete median on Interstate 70, Rostraver, state police said. She will be charged with failure to drive at a safe speed.

False information: Boyd Edward Stevenson, 48, of 708 Sheridan St., Monongahela, was charged by Rostraver Township police this week with making false statements in an application to purchase a firearm at the Belle Vernon Walmart store in November.

Hindering charge: Brandie Lee Antol, 30, of Geary Street, Monongahela, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant obtained by Charleroi Regional police charging her with hindering apprehension. She is accused of giving police the wrong name of a wanted man they were looking for during a Feb. 23 incident in Speers. She was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County Jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Two charged with retail theft: Danielle B. Wood, 34, and James Robert Wood, 45, both of Newark, Ohio, were arrested Wednesday night by South Strabane police after they allegedly stole items valued at more than $3,360 from Kohl’s, Strabane Square. Police were called when store security noticed the two placing high-end items in a shopping cart. He put the cart near an emergency door and she went to the car, pulling it near the door. Police found several garbage bags filled with merchandise with security tags in the car. She had a counterfeit $20 bill in her purse. He reportedly had oxycodone. Both are charged with retail theft and conspiracy. She is also charged with forgery and driving with a suspended license. He is also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Both were arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond.

Theft arrest: Jazmyn Calhoun, 18, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Wednesday by South Strabane police on a charge of retail theft after she allegedly stole items valued at $199 from Ralph Lauren, Tanger Outlets. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released.

Credit card accessed: Michael Pecosh of Huffman Avenue told Washington police information from his Macy’s credit card was used to make a $489 purchase at a store in Douglaston, N.Y. He learned of it when he got an electronic receipt for the purchase.

Terroristic threats: Alexa Gourley, 19, of Washington, faces charges including terroristic threats after she allegedly made threats at Avis Arbor, Wednesday. She also threatened a Washington police officer and damaged the inside of a cruiser while being taken to Washington Hospital for an evaluation. Charges will be filed at a later date.

Trespass charge: Theodore Frye, 59, of 605 Lagonda Road, Washington, will be charged with criminal trespass after he was found Wednesday sleeping in a van owned by Try Again Homes, 365 Jefferson Ave., Washington police said.

Window damaged: Ryan Harrington, 840 Jackson St., told Washington police Wednesday that a rock was thrown through a window of his home.

Drug charges: State police charged Shellisa Chandler, 33, of 119 Locust St., Cecil, with possession and delivery of a controlled substance Tuesday in connection with a controlled drug buy Oct. 13, 2015, in which Chandler allegedly sold heroin to a confidential informant.
