Anderson not guilty

A Washington County jury acquitted a 35-year-old Canonsburg man in a criminal case stemming from allegations that he had inappropriate contact with a minor.

Jurors found Corey L. Anderson not guilty on charges of aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children and indecent assault in a verditct filed Friday.

Jurors returned the verdict Thursday, on the third day of a trial held before Judge Gary Gilman.

Canonsburg police filed charges against Anderson in March 2015.
