Information sought on pedestrian accident

Officials in Allenport are seeking information about an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian earlier

this year.

Allenport Mayor Robert Horan said the pedestrian was struck about 7:10 p.m. Feb. 1 on Route 88 (Main Street) near the Allenport Rod and Gun Club. The victim is still recovering in a Greensburg nursing home.

RESA police are investigating, but authorities have been unable to uncover any information about the vehicle. Horan asks anyone who might have witnessed the accident or has information to call him at 724-326-8805.
