Items stolen: McDonald police said items were reported stolen Sunday from five vehicles parked in Burgettstown. Four of the vehicles were parked off Florence Avenue, while the fifth was parked on Tenan Street.

Motorcycle stolen: A resident of Greenside Avenue told Canonsburg police Saturday a man in a dark red, older pickup truck stole a black, white and red 2014 Yamaha motorcycle owned by Anthony Elias, 120 Rose Ave., Washington. The motorcycle, which was parked near East College Street and Greenside Avenue, was placed into the bed of the pickup truck, which then left.

DUI alleged in crash: Nadalie R. Englert, 32, of 166 Main St., New Eagle, is charged by township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, endangering the welfare of children, reckless endangerment and accidents involving damage to attended property, court records show. Police accuse her of causing an accident with a vehicle driven by Kim Beveridge as she passed him about 9:30 p.m. May 8 in the 300 block of Route 88. Police said she was traveling with two children. District Judge Mark Wilson issued her charges in a summons Thursday.

Drug arrest: Natalie Fine, 39, of 102 Ida Ave., Donora, was arrested Saturday afternoon by Donora police on charges of possession with intent to manufacture crack and heroin, hindering prosecution, possession of heroin, crack and paraphernalia and several traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Meldon Avenue. Police said she tried to kick two bags of crack under her vehicle when she was taken into custody. She was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.

Assault charge: Terri McIntyre, 48, of 123 Allen Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with simple assault over accusations she knocked Davon Goin to the ground with her van about 12:20 p.m. May 5 in the 300 block of Allen Avenue, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued McIntyre the charge in a summons Friday.

Unauthorized use charge: Leonard Jay Sloan, 27, of 944 Meldon Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with unauthorized use of his parents’ vehicle about 9 p.m. May 11. Police said he later returned it with damage from an accident in Forward Township. District Judge Mark Wilson issued Sloan the charge in a summons Thursday.

Two arrested: Melissa Rae Barr, 26, and William Cullen Ellifritt, 39, who Donora police said are homeless and currently living on the bank of the Monongahela River, were arrested Sunday afternoon on the bank near Polycom. Police received a tip the two were living under the Donora-Monessen Bridge and that Ellifritt was a registered sex offender. Police learned he is wanted in West Virginia. They were living there for a few weeks, police said, and were using the address of Barr’s mother. Barr was charged with hindering apprehension. She was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond. Ellifritts was arraigned before McDonald as fugitive from justice and placed in Washington County Jail without bond, pending extradition to West Virginia.

Bad check charge: Michael Urban of 619 Chestnut St., Donora, is charged in a privately filed criminal complaint with issuing a bad check for his August rent to his landlord, Barry Galiffa, and owing him a total of $933 in rent and utilities, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued an arrest warrant in the case Thursday.

Drug charges: Ryan Edward Lawlor, 25, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Friday on Route 88 in Fallowfield Township and faces a charge of drug possession. He was found with 14 stamp bags of heroin, state police said.

Woman hit: Margaret Rutherford, 73, of Bulger, was checked by her doctor for hip and elbow injuries after being struck by a vehicle Friday in the parking lot of Giant Eagle, Station Street. The driver, Pauline Jozwiakowski, 72, of Midway, was backing out of a space when she struck Rutherford, who reportedly lost her balance and fell, police said.

Drug arrests: Stephen T. Martello, 52, and Pamela J. Carlson, 56, both of 30 Knox Ave., Monessen, are charged by city police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Martello and Carlson are accused of distributing heroin from their residence about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. A subsequent search of their residence produced heroin paraphernalia, police said. Both are in Westmoreland County jail on $50,000 bonds set Thursday by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Unauthorized use charge: Tamaar L. Pone, 31, of 411 McKee Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with unauthorized use of a vehicle registered to Cassie Destefano, who reported it missing May 9, court records show. Pone was issued the charge Thursday in a summons from District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Reckless and disorderly charges: Dennis M. Zuraw, 68, of 707 Maple Drive, Monongahela, is charged by city police with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct over accusations he attempted to interfere with a funeral procession about 11:30 a.m. May 10 in the 200 block of Chess Street, court records show. Zuraw is free on $5,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Corruption of minors charge: Michael Robert Treece, 21, of 419 Second St., Monongahela, was arrested Saturday on a warrant obtained by Monongahela police on charges of corruption of minors, retail theft and conspiracy. He is accused of stealing items from Sheetz, 111 E. Main St., last month with his younger brother, who is a juvenile. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Forgery case: Ronald D. Walters, who last lived in New Eagle and is believed to have relocated to Ohio, is charged by city police with forgery, bad checks and theft, court records show. He is accused of depositing two fraudulent money orders totalling $1,986 Jan. 14 at a cfsbank, 1220 W. Main St., and depositing a bad check a day earlier in the amount of $2,775. District Judge Mark Wilson issued an arrest warrant in the case Thursday.

Detergent stolen: Monica Renay Lee, 47, of 350 Zundel St., Belle Vernon, was charged with felony retail theft for allegedly stealing six Tide pods from Walmart, 100 Sara Way, Sunday, Rostraver police said. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso. Police said she has 10 prior convictions on charges of retail theft.

Driver faces charges: Lorie Lynn Peers, 57, of 288 Richeyville Road, Daisytown, will be charged by Rostraver police with driving under the influence of alcohol and stopping or parking on the road after police said she was found early Saturday incoherent behind the wheel of her vehicle, which was pulled off to the side of Route 201 at Pollack Run Road. Police said she refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Charles Christner.

Theft, receiving charges: Shane Michael Marinos, 26, who Rostraver police said is homeless, was charged Monday with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing items from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 100 Harper Lane, earlier this month. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Charles Christner.

Pole hit: Regina D. Russell, 33, of 680 Allison Ave., Washington, escaped injured when her vehicle struck a utility pole on Wilbert Avenue between Concord Avenue and Larch Street about 6:20 a.m. Monday, almost shearing it in half. She told South Strabane police she swerved to avoid a deer. That block was closed for several hours while the pole was replaced.

Drug charges: Drew Ely, 31, of 124 E. Buffalo Church Road, Washington, will be charged by Washington police with drug possession after officers said they found him with suspected marijuana and unknown pills in his vehicle. Police had been called Sunday to check a report of a man slumped over in a vehicle in the lot at 99 Jefferson Ave.

Gun stolen: Bradford J. Gordon of 228 Oak St. told Washington police Sunday that his .22-caliber Taurus handgun was stolen. He last saw it when he put it in the saddlebag of his motorcycle.

DUI charge: Duane Douglas Mann, 59, of 508 E. Wheeling St., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license after police say his vehicle went off the road in the 1100 block of East Maiden Street early Sunday and got stuck in a ditch. Police said he refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test.

Wallet stolen: Jude Brown of Bedillion Road, Washington, told Washington police Saturday that his wallet containing $30, a credit card and identification was stolen while he was at Shop ‘n Save, 155 W. Beau St.

iPad stolen: Dean Nutter of Taylorstown told Washington police Friday that his iPad was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the lot of a business at 555 Jefferson Ave.

Purse stolen: Victoria Delcourte of Burgettstown told Washington police Friday that her purse was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at Centerville Clinic, 37 Highland Ave.

Drug charges: Leon Robert Bedura, 31, of 1605 Amity Ridge Road, faces charges of drug posession, driving without registration, license or insurance, and not using turn signals following a traffic stop on Wilson Avenue on May 3 in which officers found 10 syringes and empty heroin stamp bags, state police said.

Drug charges: Melanie Cherie Steele, 31, of 185 Caldwell Ave., faces charges of drug paraphernalia possession, two DUI charges, driving without a license, careless and wreckless driving and failing to stop at an intersection following a March 22 traffic stop on Vitteck Road in which police observed Steele’s rental vehicle had a busted-out window. Officers found needles, a spoon and stamp bags in the vehicle, state police said.

Forgery charge: Danielle L. Gordon, 34, of 228 Oak St., faces a forgery charge following a Sept. 9 incident at the Medicine Shoppe on Jefferson Avenue in which she tried to obtain a prescription through use of a forged signature, Washington police said.

Theft: Season Acel, 40, of 239 S. College St., faces a charge of access device fraud for allegedly stealing nearly $8,000 from her father’s checking account following a February incident in which she stole a debit card, Washington police said.
