Chilly day for a farmers market
Pat Karvan of Nineveh was one of many customers who braved chilly temperatures Wednesday to buy produce at the first Waynesburg Farmers Market of the year. Karvan bought pepper, tomato and cucumber plants from Homer Harden at the Harden Family Farm stand. The farmers market stretched from its usual spot on Church Street around to the sidewalk along High Street in front of the Greene County Courthouse. The market will continue every Wednesday until October.
