Police beat May 22
Theft: An all-terrain vehicle was stolen from Mel Blount Youth Home, 6 Mel Blount Drive, and driven until it was out of gas and abandoned on Pleasant Valley Road, according to state police. The incident occurred between 4 p.m. May 2 and 7 a.m. May 3. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
Burglary: State police reported someone destroyed the front door of the home of a 57-year-old woman at 93 Roberts Road, then stole about $300 in loose change plus Xanax and other pills. The alleged incident occurred between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-223-5200.
Sex charges: Six women and two men were arrested on prostitution and related charges in a township motel room following a sting operation Friday night by Troop B Vice/Narcotics unit and Washington County Drug Task Force. State police said charges of prostitution and related offenses will be filed against Tricia Beth Goldreyer and Michele Renne Clark, both of Washington; Sheena Maria Gibson of Weirton, W.Va.; Trista Nannette Owings of Wellsburg, W.Va.; and Chelsea Elaine Whittington of Barnesville, Ohio. Three face those charges and additional counts: Chelsea Veronica Dallatore of Washington, possession of heroin and related paraphernalia; and Kyle Allen Morris of Barnesville and James Consigliao of Weirton, promoting prostitution.
