Three ADAs sworn in

Three new Washington County prosecutors were sworn in Friday by judges.

Two of the assistant district attorneys – Rachel Wheeler and Adam Yarussi – will fill newly created postitions to handle general trial responsibilities.

The third, Megan Faust, will prosecute all juvenile criminal cases for the office.

Judge John F. DiSalle administered oaths of office to Faust and Wheeler. Judge Michael Lucas swore in Yarussi.

Faust was an intern in the Washington County district attorney’s office as an undergraduate.

Wheeler previously worked in private practice and as a law clerk for DiSalle.

Yarussi was most recently an attorney for Southwestern Pennsylvania Legal Services.
