Arrest warrant issued: David L. Carden, 29, of 504 Manor Gate Lane, West Newton, was charged by the Washington County drug task force with three counts each of possession with intent to deliver, possession and criminal use of a cellphone, court records show. Detectives accuse Carden of selling heroin to a confidential informant on three occasions between Dec. 31 and May 11 at different locations in the township, one of which allegedly took place in the parking lot at Ringgold High School on Route 136. District Judge Mark Wilson issued a warrant for Carden’s arrest Wednesday.

Five injured: Five people, including two children, were injured Monday morning in a three-vehicle, chain-reaction crash on Racetrack Road between West Pike Street and Hallam Avenue, Chartiers police said. The drivers were identified as Brianna Krampert, 22, of 315 Summit Ave., Canonsburg; Morgan Piatt, 17, of 985 Summerlea Ave., Washington, and Jennifer Goehring, 32, of 130 W. Fair Meadow Drive, Canonsburg. Krampert and her 3-year-old daughter were taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment. Piatt, Goehring and Goehring’s 2-year-old daughter were checked at the scene.

Drug arrest: Ernest L. Majors, 32, of 454 Fourth St., Donora, is charged by borough police with possession with intent to deliver, possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police said they seized three bags of crack, one bag of marijuana, 24 stamp bags of heroin and $7,254 from Majors after a vehicle in which he was a passenger was stopped about 12:15 a.m. Thursday on the Donora-Monessen Bridge. He is in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond set Thursday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Drug arrest: Robert J. Monack, 49, of 642 Sixth St., Donora, is charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Monack is accused of having a bag of Lunista and Xanax about 7 p.m. May 13 in a parking lot in the 700 block of Meldon Avenue. He is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set Thursday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Woman charged: Pamela L. Smith, 36, of 2884 S Bridge Road, South Franklin Township, is charged by borough police with possessing four stamp bags of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop about 2:25 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of McKean Avenue, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charges in a summons Wednesday.

Assault charge: Kenneth Clark, 21, of 135 Kenric Ave., Apt. A, Donora, is charged by borough police with simple assault over accusations he threw a set of keys at Kayla Demo, cutting her face about 5:30 p.m. May 20 outside his residence, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charge in a summons Wednesday.

Cocaine charge: Matthew Mauro, 47, of 461 Motheral Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with possession of a bag of cocaine and possession of paraphernalia, court records show. Police claim to have found the drug when officers were summoned to his residence about 6:10 p.m. Sunday to investigate a disturbance. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued Mauro the charges in a summons Thursday.

Heroin charges: Robert C. Marshall, 34, of 10 Elm St., Monessen, is charged by state police with two counts each of possession with intent to deliver and possession, court records show. Police accuse Marshall of selling stacks of stamp bags of heroin to a confidential informant on Nov. 16 at his home and in a parking lot in the 400 block of Donner Avenue on Nov. 19. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso arraigned Marshall Thursday and sent him to Westmoreland County jail on $50,000 bond.

Drug arrest: Theodore A. Babich Jr., 29, of 42 Elwood St., Monongahela, is charged by city police with possessing two stamp bags of heroin and possession of a small amount of marijuana after he fell to the ground Monday at 111 E. Main St., court records show. He is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set Thursday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

False statements charge: Jimmie Mansfield, 53, of 3869 Finleyville-Elrama Road, Union Township, is charged by city police with making a statement under penalty and a false statement when purchasing a firearm Dec. 22 at Valley Arms, 306 E. Main St., court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charges in a summons Wednesday.

Threat charge: William Henry Crawford, 28, of 791 E. Main St., Monongahela, was arrested Wednesday night by Monongahela police on charges of terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment. He is accused of threatening a woman with a baseball bat during a confrontation at Fourth Street and Marne Avenue. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released from Washington County jail after posting $10,000 bond.

Two injured: Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Washington Road (Route 19) near Galley Road. North Strabane police said a car driven by Shannon Powell, 18, of 269 Thompsonville Road, Canonsburg, had been going south when she went over the center median and crashed head-on into a car driven by Carlos Garcia Cabral, 44, of 250 Bower Hill Road, Venetia. Both had to be freed from their vehicles by North Strabane firefighters. He was flown to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital for treatment. Powell was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment. Both were released from the hospitals. Police said blood was drawn from Powell for testing. The investigation is continuing.

Two face charges: Michael Joseph Chirumbolo, 25, and Brittany Chirumbolo, 26, both of 245 Fieldbrook Drive, North Strabane, face charges stemming from an incident that started with a domestic dispute at their home Wednesday. Michael Chirumbolo is accused of choking Brittany Chirumbolo. During a pat-down at the scene, police said they found suspected heroin and paraphernalia. They said they found additional drugs on him at the station. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller on charges of simple assault, harassment and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. He was placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond. Police said Brittany Chirumbolo had a gun the previous day. She gave them permission to search her purse, and police said they found a pair of brass knuckles. She will be charged with having a prohibited offensive weapon. Police were called back to the home Wednesday night and said they found her passed out in the bed of her father’s pickup truck, in possession of suspected heroin and paraphernalia. She will be charged in that incident later.

Counterfeit money: South Strabane police said a counterfeit $20 bill was passed Wednesday at Chick-fil-A, 375 Washington Road.
