Authorities work to ID body found in burning car

PENN HILLS (AP) – The Allegheny County medical examiner and police are working to identify a body found inside a burning car in the Pittsburgh suburbs.

Emergency crews found the body when they responded to the fire about 1 a.m. Friday in Penn Hills. The car was found burning in an alley behind a Baptist church.

Homicide detectives have been canvassing the area trying to determine what happened.
