The Warrior Trail Association will host a public hike on the trail on Saturday. Participants will meet at the association headquarters building in Fordyce before 10 a.m. A shuttle will be available. Hikes can be of any length with support up to seven miles. Participants are asked to bring water and a lunch. Long pants and hiking shoes are recommended. Binoculars and bird books are a good idea. Warrior Trail members will be on hand to talk about the history of the trail and the association.
”Classic Memories” will be performing at the Clay Battelle Senior Center in Blacksville, W.Va., Saturday, June 4. The doors open at 6 p.m. and admission for the show is $5 for people 14 and older. The center will be serving a cream chicken on biscuits dinner, which includes mashed potatoes, green beans and slaw.
The Mission Circle of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will hold its annual yard sale June 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 224 S. Market St. in Carmichaels. Proceeds will benefit the church’s mission programs and projects.
