Memorial Day services, events attract crowds
The Brooks-Crago American Legion Post 816 held its annual Memorial Day parade Sunday afternoon in Rices Landing with veterans and the community participating. The post’s honor guard is shown marching in the parade.
In Waynesburg, a Memorial Day service was held outside the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4793 in the borough Monday morning. Post member Martin Wilson placed a carnation at the memorial in remembrance of those who lost their lives while serving in the military.
