Theft charge: Stephanie A. Bowens, 174 March Ave., Nemacolin, was charged Tuesday with theft and receiving stolen property after Carmichaels police said she stole $450 in cash and $300 worth of cigarettes while working at the Circle K convenience store in the borough between May and September.

One hurt in crash: Shae M. Gottschalk, 28, of Prosperity, was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital, in Morgantown, W.Va., with a minor injury Monday evening after his vehicle crashed, rolled onto its side and struck a utility pole on Bobtown Road in Dunkard Township, state police said.
