Charged in stop: Deandre D. Kilgore, 32, of Cleveland, Ohio, was arrested Thursday by state police after a traffic stop on Interstate 79 southbound, south of the Lone Pine exit, Amwell, on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and cocaine and possession of marijuana. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County Jail on $30,000 bond.
Drug charges: Jeffrey Wilkins, 51, of 250 Oak Hill Drive, South Strabane Township, was charged Tuesday by state police with possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin after he allegedly sold the drug to a confidential informant. Police said Wilkins made the sale while living in an apartment on South Wade Avenue, East Washington, in 2014. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Assault, threats arrest: Margaret Ann Zombeck, 57, of 16 Meriage St., Mt. Pleasant, was arrested Thursday afternoon by township police on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment after she allegedly threatened to kill her brother and then threatened an officer. Police said she appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. She was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.
Driver charged: Mason T. Kusky, 20, of 160 Wylie Ave., Strabane, was charged last week by North Strabane police with driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance and minor not to have alcohol in his system. Police said he was found passed out in his vehicle Sept. 28 at the intersection of Wilson and Linden roads. Police said his blood-alcohol content was almost 10 times the 0.02 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed for anyone under the age of 21. He also allegedly had marijuana in his system. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Charges filed: Alexis Houser, 32, of Castle Shannon, was charged last week by North Strabane police with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to stop for police and traffic violations. Police said she failed to stop after they activated emergency lights to stop her on Route 19 on March 21. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Charged in crash: Daniel W. Board, 42, of Wellsview, Ohio, was charged Thursday by Smith police with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a crash, reckless driving and several traffic violations after he allegedly crashed into the side of JMS Big, Route 18, and left the scene on Oct. 12. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.
Assault arrest: Tracy Donnell Partee, 45, of 31 Emery Road, Somerset, was arrested Thursday by state police on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after he allegedly struck his girlfriend and grabbed her by the throat during a confrontation. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.
False information: Phillip A. Reece, 57, of 333 Woods Drive, Waynesburg, was charged last week by South Strabane police with providing false information and unsworn falsification after he allegedly put false information on a gun permit application Feb. 11 while trying to buy a weapon at Ace Sporting Goods, Route 19. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Woman threatened: Jessica Lynn Farmer, 28, of 455 Broad St., Washington, was charged last week by South Strabane police with terroristic threats after she allegedly threatened a woman Oct. 25 at 1715 Morris St. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Assault arrest: Pablo Nevel Jr., 35, of 649 Broad St., Washington, was arrested Friday on charges of aggravated assault and simple assault. He is accused of punching a man Monday in the head, face and torso on McAdam Avenue. He also allegedly banged the man’s head off a vehicle. Nevel was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond.
Faces charges: Brandi Byers, 34, of 145 Jefferson Ave., Washington, faces drug charges after she reportedly overdosed in a friend’s vehicle on Addison Street early Friday, Washington police said. Police said they found her with pipes and suspected marijuana and hydrocodone.
Jewelry stolen: Tami Veltri of Maple Avenue told Washington police Thursday that a jewelry box containing a diamond tennis bracelet, watches and other items, and prescription medication were stolen from her home. She said the stolen items were valued at $6,000.
Fugitive arrest: Michelle Renee Mayo, 46, of 764 Browns Ferry Road, Carmichaels, was arrested Wednesday by West Brownsville police as a fugitive from justice after it was determined during a traffic stop she was wanted on a felony warrant on a charge of forgery in Monongalia County, W.Va. She was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County Jail without bond, pending extradition to West Virginia.
