Charged in threats: Joshua David Stone, 28, of 128 Jeane St., Washington, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of terroristic threats, harassment and criminal mischief filed by state police. He is accused of going to the Amwell home of a 23-year-old woman on Aug. 31 and threatening to kill her. He also allegedly damaged her vehicle. He was placed in Washington County jail on a $10,000 percentage bond.

Charged in crash: Michael R. Hatfield, 30, of 35 Sturge Hollow Road, Amity, was charged Tuesday by state police with leaving the scene of a crash, careless driving and failure to render aid after he allegedly hit the back of a vehicle on the ramp to Interstate 79 northbound at the Lone Pine interchange, Amwell, Oct. 17. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Warrant obtained: California police obtained an arrest warrant Wednesday from District Judge Joshua Kanalis for Sandra Dee Stone, 47, of California, on charges of aggravated and simple assault, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct stemming from a Nov. 3 incident at 1221 California Terrace. Police said she reportedly was involved in a domestic incident, and she is accused of kicking a police officer.

Man charged: William Matsko, 28, of 520 Second St., California, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with illegally possessing two Alprazolam doses during a traffic stop about 3:20 p.m. Oct. 31 on Maple Drive, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charge in a summons last week.

Driver charged: Daniel M. Whipkey, 43, of 136 Blaine St., Washington, was charged Tuesday by state police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, failure to stay in his lane and careless driving after his vehicle went off Interstate 70 westbound, west of the Claysville exit, Donegal, and crashed into a swampy area Nov. 3. Whipkey was placed in Washington County jail on a parole detainer. He will be arraigned on the charges later before District Judge Ethan Ward.

Arrested on warrants: Michael Bresnay, 39, of 1136 Laurel Hill Road, McDonald, was arrested Wednesday on two warrants obtained by McDonald police. He is charged with criminal trespass, access device fraud, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief for allegedly stealing a money order from Margaret Zombeck at 15 Meriage St. last month, and cashing it. Bresnay also is charged with flight to avoid apprehension for allegedly running from police Oct. 19 when they tried to take him into custody on the theft charge. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond.

Mother charged: Crystal R. Montano, 34, of 619 Best Ave., Washington, faces charges of felony retail theft, endangering the welfare of children and driving with a suspended license. She is accused of going into Gander Mountain, Washington Crown Center, Oct. 12, and stealing several boxes of ammunition that she placed in a baby stroller, North Franklin police said. When an employee tried to stop her, she allegedly placed her infant in her vehicle and sped off without securing the baby in a safety seat. Montano was placed in Washington County jail Tuesday on a probation bench warrant. She will be arraigned on the charges later before District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Theft charge: Lori Lee Pidich, 45, of 18 Main St., Daisytown, was charged by North Franklin police with retail theft after she allegedly stole clothing valued at $522.95 from Macy’s, Washington Crown Center, Tuesday. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Woman jailed: Christina L. Pocky, 27, of 504 Underwood Ave., Roscoe, is charged with hindering, illegally possessing crack and a dose of Clonazepam, and possessing drug paraphernalia when Roscoe, Elco, Stockdale and Allenport police went to her residence to serve warrants on Myles Liston about 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24, court records show. She also is charged by RESA police with possessing drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop about 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at Route 88 and Vine Street. She is in Washington County jail on $45,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Theft case: Monsae Mackall, 19, of 268 Chestnut St., Stockdale, is charged by Roscoe, Elco, Stockdale and Allenport police with theft over accusations he stole $160 from Dollar General, 600 Chester Ave., while he worked there about 11 p.m. Oct. 24, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charge in a summons Tuesday.

Charged in crash: Casey Alexandra Ivery, 25, of 664 Western Ave., Chartiers Township, was charged Tuesday by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving, failure to stay in her lane and reckless driving. She reportedly crashed her vehicle into an embankment and then got it stuck in trees on Route 221, South Franklin, on Sept. 21. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Theft arrest: Melissa Lynn Nelson, 41, of 1673 Streator Ave., South Strabane, was arrested Friday afternoon by South Strabane police on charges of retail theft, driving under suspension and conspiracy. She and Latoya Smith, 30, of Washington, are accused of stealing items from Walmart, Trinity Point, and leaving in a truck. Police said the two also were reportedly in the store two days earlier. Nelson was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond. Smith was placed in jail on a parole detainer.

Threats arrest: Sharon Havard, 30, of Conehatta, Miss., was arrested Monday night by South Strabane police on charges of terroristic threats, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct stemming from a disturbance near a room at Motel 6, 1283 Motel 6 Drive. She was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County Jail on $3,000 bond.

Drug charges: Brandi Byers, 35, of 145 Henderson Ave., Washington, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after Washington police said they found her unresponsive Friday in a vehicle parked at 450 Addison St. with eight hydrocodone pills and a small amount of marijuana. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
