Motorcyclist killed in crash with wife’s car
DILLINER – The driver of a motorcycle was killed in a crash at 8:06 p.m. Thursday on Route 88 in Dunkard Township.
James Tyler Nicklow, 22, no address given, was pronounced dead at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., after his motorcycle collided with a car driven by his wife on Route 88 at the intersection of Cemetery Hill Road, state police said.
Police said Nicklow was riding north when his motorcycle left the northbound lane and struck the rear of a car traveling north making a left hand turn onto Cemetery Hill Road.
Nicklow was thrown from the motorcycle, police said.
The car was driven by his wife, Rikki Marie Nicklow, 37, no address given.
Sgt. Steve Dowlin said the crash is still under investigation and declined to elaborate on how the crash occurred.
“It’s just a tragic accident,” Dowlin said.
