Police beat Nov. 12
Gun, sunglasses stolen: A resident of the 2000 block of Majestic Drive told North Strabane police Wednesday that a Glock pistol and two pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses were stolen from his vehicle.
Tablet stolen: Amard Kennedy of 187 Maple Terrace told Washington police Thursday that a Nextbook tablet was stolen from his home.
Kit stolen: Ken Miller told Washington police Thursday that a general service kit was stolen from his store at 172 S. Main St. and sold at a Washington pawn shop. The value of the kit is $215.
Mailbox damaged: Georgeanne Farkas of 395 W. Chestnut St. told Washington police Thursday that her mailbox was damaged. Charges are pending.
PFA violation alleged: Edger Franklin Yoders II, 22, of Grindstone, was arrested Thursday by state police for allegedly violating a protection-from-abuse order obtained by his former girlfriend by sending her a text message. Police said Yoders told them he got drunk and did not remember sending the message. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County Jail on a $10,000 percentage bond.
