Man killed in Cecil Twp. home
McDONALD – A man was shot and killed inside a Cecil Township home Friday night.
A woman called 911 shortly after 6 p.m. to report the homeowner told her he shot an intruder in his home at 128 Adams St., McDonald.
Cecil Township police Chief Shawn Bukovinsky said the deceased man, who was not identified, was accompanied by two people when he arrived at the home allegedly to purchase marijuana from the homeowner, with whom he was acquainted and had previously had an altercation.
The homeowner, whose name was not released, allegedly shot the man following an argument in the home.
The shooter and the pair who entered the home with the man who was shot were taken to the township police station.
State police and Washington County Coroner Tim Warco also responded.
The investigation is ongoing.
