ALIQUIPPA (AP) – Authorities released the name of a teenager shot to death last week.

The Beaver County coroner’s office said 16-year-old William Cade Booher died of a gunshot wound after the 8:30 p.m. Thursday gunfire in Aliquippa.

Police chief Don Couch said a resident called 911 after a 13-year-old boy knocked on his front door and said his friend was shot.

Officers arrived to find a car parked in the middle of the street riddled with bullet holes and the youth’s body inside.

Investigators said they were trying to contact an 18-year-old male who was also in the car. Police said all of the teenagers were from Beaver.
