An all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatball dinner will be held each Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the former Holy Family Catholic Church in Greensboro. The event benefits the Greensboro-Monongahela Township Volunteer Fire Company. The menu includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread, beverages and dessert. The dinner is $5 for children and $8 for adults. Take-out orders are available by calling 724-943-3800.
There will be a rummage sale and lunch at the Washington Street Church in Waynesburg this Thursday and Friday. The rummage sale is 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day while the lunch is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Homemade soups, desserts, sandwiches, cabbage and noodles and pepperoni rolls will be available for purchase. Takeout is also available by calling 724-627-3240.
There will be a country music concert at New Freeport fire hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Ole Habits will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and Larry Santee and Dick Rutan will perform from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Admission is $4. The event is sponsored by the fire company’s ladies auxiliary. The last concert of the year will be Nov. 12.
