Greene County sheriff releases activity report for September
WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian Tennant released the following activity report for September.
• The office processed 42 civil actions and served 46 documents related to civil actions. It processed one real estate sale, served papers related to four real estate sales and posted one real estate notice.
• The office processed one personal property action and served documents related to two personal property actions.
• The office processed 16 protection-from-abuse actions and served papers related to 13 PFA actions. Four protection-from-abuse violations were investigated.
• The office processed 98 licenses to carry concealed weapons and issued one license to sell firearms.
• Sheriff’s deputies received nine warrants and served four warrants.
• Deputies transported six state prison inmates and made 33 county transports.
• The office performed four special details and assisted outside law enforcement agencies two times.
• Deputies performed 46 traffic stops.
• Mileage driven by deputies for the month was 2,095.
