Police beat Oct. 4
Crash: No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 9:24 a.m. Wednesday on Route 88 at Ceylon Road. State police said Frank C. Deluca, 55, of Dilliner, failed to stop for a red light on Route 88. His vehicle collided with a vehicle operated by Dorothy L. Cole, 83, of Carmichaels.
Woman charged: Paxton Sanderford, 22, was charged after she allegedly forced her way into a house at 1785 Morris St. in Franklin Township at noon Sept. 15, assaulted a 19-year-old female, stole the woman’s telephone and fled, state police said. Police said Sanderford later came to the barracks and confessed to the incident.
Burglary: Escape Nail Spa at 1470 E. High St. in Franklin Township was burglarized between 8 p.m. Sept. 23 and 9:40 a.m. Sept. 24, state police said. The burglar attempted to remove the cash register, which was empty, police said.
Harassment: Neal Edward Morgan Jr., no age or address given, was charged after he allegedly became involved in a fight and struck two men at 11:35 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Mobile Home Park in Monongahela Township, state police said.
Burglary: Two toolboxes, tools, a car stereo system with speakers and a 55-gallon fish tank were stolen from a shed at 47 Jefferson Estates in Morgan Township between Sept. 26 and 30, state police said.
Crash: No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 10:19 p.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes of Interstate 79 in Perry Township. State police said a vehicle operated by Austin M. Peck, 19, of Martinsburg, W.Va., struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Gavin A. Hale, 21, of Jackson, Ohio. Both vehicles ran off the road and struck guardrails, police said.
Burglary: Two handguns were stolen in a burglary at a residence on Dillie Road between July 24 and Sept. 24, state police said. Police did not identify the address of the house that was burglarized.
