Police beat Oct. 5
Register stolen: The cash register was stolen in a burglary at Little Caesars restaurant, 1550 E. High St. in Franklin Township, at 2:19 a.m. Tuesday, state police. The glass door was broken to get into the building, police said.
Fire destroys camper: State police said no one was injured when a fire destroyed a camper on Deep Valley Road in Freeport Township about 9:40 a.m. Friday. Marvin Miller of Waynesburg owned the camper, police said.
False identification: Dennis Robert Hayes, 45, of 175 W. Elm St., Waynesburg, was charged by Morris Township police with false identification for allegedly giving a false name to an officer during a Sept. 22 traffic stop. Hayes was cited for four traffic summary charges.
Drug charges: Alicia Dawn McGraw, 39, of 45 Clark St., Clarksville, was charged by Morris Township police with false identification, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing prescription pills and giving police the wrong birth date following a crash around 1:45 p.m. Sept. 23 in the 1400 block of Browns Creek Road. Police said they found a telephone pole sheared off and laying across the road and a damaged pickup truck in a nearby field. McGraw, a passenger in the vehicle, was taken to WHS-Greene hospital for treatment. Police said found cigarette wrappers and 16 anti-anxiety pills. Police also discovered that McGraw had multiple active arrest warrants for probation violations.
