Cecil man faces numerous charges
A Cecil Township man was arrested Thursday morning by township police after an alleged road-rage incident in Southpointe.
Tracy Hish, 60, of 205 Cumer Road, was arrested after the 9:15 a.m. incident in the 4000 block of Town Center Boulevard. The alleged victim said a man, later identified by police as Hish, was in the parking lot of his place of employment, threatening him.
The alleged victim told police the other man just left the parking lot in a black Volkswagen Beetle convertible, and he provided a license plate number. Police stopped the vehicle on Town Center at Horizon Vue Drive.
Hish told police he was involved in an incident and was trying to contact them. When the officer asked for his driver’s license, Hish reportedly told him he left his wallet at home. Police later determined he was driving while his license was suspended.
The alleged victim told police Hish followed him to his place of employment, got out of his vehicle and started yelling profanities. Hish also allegedly told the victim “I’ll kill you” as he continued to approach. The man told police he was concerned Hish would harm him, so he called his boss to come to the parking lot to witness the other man’s behavior. The boss also told police he heard Hish saying “I’ll kill you.” A woman corroborated their account.
Hish was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald on charges of terroristic threats, driving under suspension, reckless driving, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. Hish is slated for a preliminary hearing Oct. 20 before McDonald.
