Traffic stop arrest: Donald Martin, 39, of Coraopolis, was arrested Monday by state police during a traffic stop on Interstate 79 northbound near the Canonsburg exit. Police said he a fake license with another name on it. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson on charges of having a fictitious license, false identification to police, driving under suspension and traffic violations. He also was wanted on out-of-county bench warrants. He was placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Light tower stolen: An employee of United Rentals, 1600 Jefferson Ave., Canton, reported a 2013 Magnum Pro towable light tower was stolen between July and late September, state police reported Tuesday. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.

DUI alleged in crash: Daniel Arroyo, 27, of McDonald, will be charged by Cecil police with driving under the influence of alcohol after police said he crashed his vehicle, which rolled on its roof early Saturday in the 500 block of Route 980. Arroyo also was driving with a suspended license, police said. A passenger, Ian Eshbaugh, 26, of Washington, was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment. Police said they found the two men outside the vehicle, walking away from the crash scene.

Information accessed: Michael Holzer of Cross Creek told state police information from his bank card was accessed and a second card with that information was made and used to withdraw cash from a Florida bank in September.

Warrant signed: Terry Williamson, 24, of Greensboro, NC, is charged by state police with indecent assault, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor over allegations he inappropriately touched a girl when she was 13 years old at a residence on Park Manor Road between September and October 2014, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson signed a warrant Monday for Williamson’s arrest.

Student faces charge: An 11-year-old boy who is a student at Ave Maria School, 3 Oak St., Ellsworth, is facing a charge of criminal mischief after he allegedly chased teachers with a metal pole Sept. 26 and broke two windows and a vent. Police issued the report Tuesday.

Megan’s Law violation claimed: Kenneth M. Lazear, 22, of 1075 Barr Run Road, Marianna, was charged by state police with violating Megan’s Law after he failed to verify his residence on three occasions while reportedly living in Canonsburg, Marianna and West Bethlehem Township between February and April. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Man jailed: Dominic Carter, 22, of 710 Sixth St., Monessen, is charged by city police with making terroristic threats, aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, court records show. He is accused of threatening four people with a knife about 10:30 a.m. Sunday at his residence. Carter, who also uses the last name of Carter-Sellers, is in Westmoreland County jail on $20,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Denise S. Thiel.

Hoverboard stolen: Gina Colditz of 1068 Royal Drive told North Strabane police that her son’s Segway hoverboard was stolen Sunday from outside their residence. She told police that the hoverboard, which was a recent gift, had been near the front door.

Tools stolen: Tree-trimming tools belonging to John Clemons & Son Tree Service were reported stole Monday from two of its trucks that were parked at Tarr Storage, 127 Valleybrook Road.

Signs stolen: Two residents of the 400 block of Lusk Road, Somerset, told state police Monday their “Trump for President” signs were stolen from their respective yards.

Warrant arrest: Tyler M. Levers, 21, whose last known address was on Graham Avenue in South Franklin, was arrested Saturday on a warrant obtained by state police charging him with possession and possession with intent to deliver marijuana. He allegedly sold the drug to a confidential informant June 19, 2014, at his house on Graham. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

Van recovered: A Nissan van owned by Omega Meats of Myrtle Beach, S.C., was recovered Monday in the Park-N-Ride lot off Lakeview Drive, South Strabane police said. The van, which was reported stolen to police in Concord, N.C., was located after it was tracked using a global-positioning system. The van was reportedly taken without permission by two employees of the company.

Driver charged: Teresa L. Redman, 49, of 47 Clark St., Clarksville, was charged Friday by state police in connection with a Sept. 11 two-vehicle crash on Lone Pine Road near Dutch Glory Road, West Bethlehem. Redman reportedly told police she was reaching for a cigarette when she crashed her vehicle into another vehicle. She was charged with accidents involving injury while the driver is not licensed, being a habitual offender and other traffic violations. Police said her license is suspended until Sept. 6, 2023. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Retail theft charge: West Brownsville police arrested Danielle Lynn Higinbotham, 23, of 620 Church St., Brownsville Monday in connection with a retail theft Aug. 14 at Walmart in West Brownsville. She was arraigned before District Judge James Ellis and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. Higinbotham has a preliminary hearing Oct. 24 before District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Assault charge: State police in Belle Vernon charged Edward Cursi, 45, of 62 Main St., Daisytown, with simple assault and harassment Monday for allegedly striking his daughter, Angel Marie Cursi, in the face. Police said Angel Cursi sustained injuries to her upper lip and chin. Cursi was arraigned Monday before District Judge James Ellis, who released him on his own recognizance. Cursi has a preliminary hearing Oct. 24 before District Judge Curtis Thompson.
