Inmate fails to return

State police are looking for a West Alexander man who escaped from a Pittsburgh hospital earlier this week.

Dustin Scott Rush, 32, was transported to UPMC-Mercy hospital from Renewal Community Corrections Center for treatment Tuesday. Rush fled the facility and was declared an escapee. He is currently serving time for receiving stolen property.

Rush is white, 5 feet, 7 “inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a skull on his left hand and an iron cross on his neck. State police have a warrant on an escape charge Rush. Anyone with information regarding his location should contact state police at the Pittssburgh station at 412-299-1607.
