Theft: Additional charges were filed against Chip Levone Riley, 28, and Nicole Jordan, 26, both of 104 Cedarwood Ave., Carmichaels in a rash of thefts from vehicles in Cumberland Township earlier this month. Riley was charged with several counts of felony and misdemeanor theft stemming from at least eight thefts from vehicles Oct. 3. “There are still victims coming forward, and we’ve recovered some additional stolen items as well,” Cumberland Township police Chief Craig Miller said. “There will probably be more coming in the next couple days.” Jordan is facing two receiving stolen property charges because police allegedly found some stolen items at her residence. She also has been charged with tampering with evidence for allegedly throwing out stolen identification cards and dog tags.

Disorderly conduct: Jesse William Patterson, 28, of Waynesburg, was charged by borough police with possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after police allegedly caught him “shooting up” just after midnight Monday on Cherry Alley in Waynesburg. Police said they saw Patterson standing in a bush with a belt tied around his arm like a tourniquet. Police said there was blood on Patterson’s arm and they found a hypodermic needle at the scene.
