Child endangerment charges: Two Crucible parents were charged with three counts of child endangerment after they were allegedly found smoking marijuana about 7 p.m. Wednesday, limiting their ability to care for their three young children in the house, Cumberland police said. Seth Branden Hillier, 27, and his girlfriend Brandy Henderson, 22, both of 54 First Ave., were at their residence and responsible for three children, ages 5, 3 and 1 month, police said. Police said two were also smoking mugwort mixed with acetone and other chemicals, which caused them to be intoxicated. Henderson, who was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, told police they put the children in another room so they wouldn’t see or inhale the smoke. Children and Youth Services took custody of the children, police said.
