Police beat Oct. 24
Theft: Someone removed a motion sensor light switch from the outer wall of a rear garage on Carmichaels Road Friday, according to Waynesburg state police. They urge anyone with information to call 724-627-6151.
Crash injuries: Waynesburg state police charged a truck driver, whom they did not identify, in a crash in which two people in another vehicle received minor injuries. Police said Lisa M. Baker, 37, of Washington, and passenger Natalie A. Amos, 48, of Graysville, were hurt in the crash on Stringtown Road at 12:40 p.m. Friday. Police said the women were traveling north and other driver was heading south when the truck crossed the center line and struck their vehicle on the driver’s side.
