Burglaries: State police are warning the public of numerous burglaries in Greene County, especially on the western side in recent months. Sgt. Steve Dowlin said they have reports of 35 burglaries in the county in a two-month period, eight of which occurred in the western side. Dowlin asked anyone who sees something suspicious to write down the vehicle and license plate information, and also not to post on social media upon leaving for a long vacation. Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to call state police in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
Disorderly conduct: Veronica Paige Farrar, 22, of Waynesburg, was cited for disorderly conduct following an alleged incident at 12:58 p.m. Thursday at the Burger King on Route 21, state police said.
Crash: No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 5:25 p.m. Oct. 3 on Tollgate Run Road, state police. Police said a utility trailer being pulled by a vehicle driven by John L. Scott, 20, of Claysville crossed into the oncoming lane hitting a vehicle driven by Richard Baker Sr., 47, of Barnesville, Ohio.
Disorderly conduct: Melissa Ann Ashton, 28, and William Henry Price, 19, both of Greensboro, were each cited for disorderly conduct after they allegedly became involved in an altercation at 6:42 p.m. Sunday on Evergreen Road in Monongahela Township, state police said.
