I-70/79 ramp closure now set for Friday
The ramp closure on Interstate 70 east leading to Interstate 79 south has been changed to Friday for a few hours so that high friction-surfacing can be placed.
Due to the surface not being able to be placed until the temperature is above 55 degrees, a specific time frame of the closure cannot be predicted. Motorists are urged to watch for the message boards alerting them to the closure.
A marked detour will use Route 519 and Route 40.
