Theft: Rhonda Lee Porterfield, 44, of 1 Washington St., Cokeburg, was charged by state police with three counts of theft for allegedly stealing $10,505 from 7-Eleven in Waynesburg last year. Police said Porterfield was employed at the convenience store last December when she allegedly failed to make daily store deposits three days in a row. Police said that when she was questioned about it, Porterfield denied taking the money and quit her job there. Porterfield later admitted to police that she had been “skimming the daily deposits for a few months,” according to the criminal complaint.

Resisting arrest: Christopher Michael Shaw, 26, of 578 Easton Mill Road, Morgantown, W.Va., was charged by Southwest Regional police with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct following an incident that happened Sept. 6. Police said they were trying to arrest Shaw on a warrant for a probation violation when he allegedly ran away and “nearly caused a traffic accident” on Locust Avenue in Mount Morris.

Burglary: Jessica J. Raulerson, 32, 263 E. High St., Waynesburg, was charged by Waynesburg police with burglary, intimidating a witness, falsifying a written statement, two counts of harassment and criminal trespass following an incident that happened last month. Police said Raulerson went to 249 Nazer St. about 8 p.m. Sept. 19 and started screaming for the victim to come outside. Raulerson then allegedly opened the door of house and walked inside and over to the victim “with her fists up to fight,” the criminal complaint said. Police said Raulerson threatened to beat the victim and tapped her on the face multiple times. Police said Raulerson told them “I didn’t go into the house, I’m not that stupid,” but multiple witnesses told police that she did enter the house. Police also said that four days after the incident, Raulerson allegedly contacted the police department and said, “I seen (the victim) today and I’m gonna hurt her, but not hurt, hurt her, ya know.” Police said Raulerson allegedly was trying to intimidate the victim in relation to another case.
