Greene County pleaders
A number of criminal defendants pleaded guilty last month.
Donna Kay Metcalf, 45, of Clarksville; offenses – theft and access device fraud; between Dec. 14 and Jan. 14, Metcalf made fraudulent purchases totaling $5,430 while working at the BFS convenience store in Jefferson Borough; sentence – 7 years of probation, $3,505 of restitution to First National Bank of Pulaski, 200 hours of community service.
Jeremy S. Lawry, 25, of 2007 Beallsville Road, Marianna; offenses – DUI and two summary violations; arrested Feb. 27 at 249 Green Valley Road, Carmichaels; sentencing – following preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Nathan Ryan Phillips, 22, of 109 Blacks Creek Road, Wind Ridge; offenses – DUI and four summary violations; arrested May 7 on State Route 21 in West Waynesburg; sentence – 2 days to 6 months in jail with time served of 21 days, $535 fine, 75 hours of community service.
Anita Marie Danko, 31, of 292 Moffit Road, Dilner; offenses – DUI and summary violations; arrested May 15 on Wood Avenue in Nemacolin; sentence – 3 days to 6 months in jail, $550 fine, 72 hours of community service.
Dennis Robert Hayes, 45, of 175 W. Elm St., Waynesburg; offenses – DUI and summary violations; arrested May 28 on State Route 21 in Franklin Township; sentence – 2 days to 6 months in jail, $1,075 fine, 75 hours of community service.
Rebecca Hackney, 26, of 201 Third St., Crucible; offenses-DUI, disorderly conduct and three counts of public drunkenness; arrested at 2 a.m. Nov. 1 at Sheetz on State Route 88 in Carmichaels; sentence – 5 days to 6 months in jail, 12 months of probation, $750 fine, 100 hours of community service.
Daniel R. Venen Jr., 26, of 140 Donald Road, Rices Landing; offenses – DUI and firearms not to be carried without a license; Venen was arrested June 17, 2015, following a rollover crash on Crucible Road in Crucible, where Venen, who was driving, crawled out of the vehicle with a hand gun in his waistband; sentence – 23 days of inpatient rehab, which he has completed; 67 days of house arrest with employment and doctor visit privileges, 4.75 years of probation, continued drug and alcohol treatment at CARE Inc., $750 fine, 300 hours of community service.
John William Clark, 56, of 341 Third Ave., Waynesburg; offenses – three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, three counts of delivery, three counts of possession and one count of criminal use of a communication facility; Clark sold 4.61 grams of cocaine over three different days in August 2014 in the parking lot of a West Waynesburg bar in Franklin Township; sentencing – following preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Joshua James Traeger, 24, of 102 Lodge Hall Road, Dilliner; offenses – accident involving death or injury, driving under suspension, required financial responsibility; Traeger was arrested following a July 21, 2015, crash on Bald Hill Church Road, in Dunkard Township, which put himself and two other people in the hospital with serious injuries; sentence – 2 years of probation, $750 fines, $3,882 in restitution to Thomas Henry Horner Jr., 100 hours of community service.
