We already are your local news source, and now we’re expanding our presence to give you even more of the news that’s happening in your community.
In addition to showcasing the top stories of the day in Washington and Greene counties and the Mon Valley region on the front page, we are dedicating the A section of the newspaper to local news. That’s where you’ll find the police beat, municipal news and local columnists.
In the B section, our new “Community” pages were created to bring you more names and faces from the people in your neighborhood. You’ll find stories from local schools, churches and civic organizations, along with weddings, engagements, anniversaries, birthdays and military news. The obituaries will continue to appear in the B section.
We’ve moved our weekly expanded Business section from Monday to Sunday, where we’ll continue to give you updates on local retail and commercial development, as well as news about the movers and shakers in our business community.
