LEMONT FURNACE (AP) – Police said a head-on crash on a Western Pennsylvania road killed two people and injured two others.

Fayette County officials said the crash was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in North Union Township.

Police said 19-year-old Derek Kemp, of West Leisenring, and 20-year-old Robert Walker III, of Uniontown, were killed when their car failed to negotiate a curve and collided with another vehicle.

Police said the second vehicle swerved but was unable to avoid a crash. A man and a woman, both 24 years old and from Brownsville, were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
